A very compact lego automatic transmission. A pneumatic cylinder provides reliable shifting. The gearing is very strong and I plan to use it in a trial truck soon.
A miniature Unimog that I am working on. It has 4 wheel drive, 4-link live axles suspension on both axles, and is quite powerful. Video:

A raspberry pi robot arm I built. Is controlled by a bluetooth ps3 controller with pressure-sensitive control. Can rotate infinitely without wires being twisted because all of the components are rotating as one. This was a very fun project to build, and I hope I can expand upon it later. Video:

I had the opportunity to video my crawler at Grand Canyon, Arches, and Sequoia National Parks. It was a blast! Enjoy!
A new rock crawler I built with very good off road performance. I used contra-rotating axles to cancel out the ‘torque twist’ that would otherwise occur with so soft a suspension. Powered by a lipo battery, this lightweight crawler is the best I’ve built yet. Video:
A concept that I built. Basically, it is a clutch that has less little friction (e.g. can be spun more easily) than a normal clutch because it only engages when there is a load on the output. The heavier the load, the more it engages. This system works very well, and could be modified to have different ‘slipping points’ as in it’s current demonstrative form it can stall any motor connected. Video:
Using the Raspberry Pi and Adafruit 16 channel servo driver, I was able to construct a robocross for Science Olympiad. A robocross is a remote vehicle capable of picking up and manipulating various objects across a playing field. This robocross is controlled over bluetooth via a ps3 controller and bluetooth dongle. I’m very happy with the results, as I won a 3rd place medal at Science Olympiad State Competition! Video:
